    incredible location to elmer gray stadium. a wide range of food options within walking distance of the venue. exceptionally comfortable bed, clean bathroom and a flat-screen tv with cable channels, central heating and an individual safe in the room.

    ideal base for exploring abiline's parks and museums

    I loved how close the hotel was to the Abilene Zoo, just over 4 km away and perfect for a morning stroll, and I also enjoyed the scenic views at Arthur Sears Park, only about a 10-minute drive away.

    The seasonal outdoor pool was refreshing, especially after a long drive. The shower in our room was nice and a pleasant surprise. Plus, it's super convenient being right across the highway from various restaurants.

    Unfortunately, the noise level in the hotel was unbearable, with music blasting from rooms until the early hours and fireworks going off unexpectedly. The lack of basic amenities such as a coffee pot and the absence of a telephone in the room added to the discomfort, and housekeeping left much to be desired as towels were not replenished and waste baskets remained full.

    The room had a nice, clean smell upon arrival. The bed was reasonably comfortable, made for a decent night's sleep. I found the bed too low to the floor and it leaned to one side, causing me to roll off that side. There were no towels or washcloths in the bathroom, so I had to go to the front desk to get them. The clerk didn't believe me at first about the towel situation. The shower didn't hold water well, so a soak wasn't possible. I appreciated the hot water, but I missed not having a drinking cup for brushing my teeth. The refrigerator was a letdown too. It had moldy food from previous guests. The overall stay was below what I expected. I might consider looking elsewhere next time if I return to this area.
